58th Annual LUSCR Dinner

Tickets are £32 and details on how to purchase a ticket are on the previous post.

Please can we ask everyone who plans on attending to purchase a ticket ASAP.

If you are planning on staying in the hotel, the special rate ends in 2 days time (5pm on 16.1.19) so please book now as this cannot be extended.


This year’s speakers are Rev Fergus Butler-Gallie (Curate at Liverpool Parish Church and published author) and Andrew Wilby (Chairman & CEO Taylor Bell Foundry Loughborough and Past Master Ancient Society College Youths).


The menu on the night is:

Slow Roasted Tomato soup with basil pesto cream (v)

Honey Roast Loin of pork, sea salt crackling, sage and onion stuffing, apple sauce.

Dessert is Individual Apple, Pear and Walnut crumble and vanilla custard.

Coffee, Tea & Petit Fours to follow and we are currently negotiating a cheeseboard. Vegetarian option is Vegetable Risotto (beetroot & blue cheese).

If you have any allergies or special dietary requirements, please tell us ASAP.


We’ve decided to go ahead and bring back the raffle. Even if it’s only a couple of prizes, it will add some (more) fun to the evening but please email if you’re able to contribute any unwanted Christmas presents & bring them along on the night.
